Taylor Lansdale

Taylor Lansdale is a songwriter from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, where the rolling hills of horse country begin to give way to eastern Kentucky’s mountains. His music lives in that in-between space: heartland rock and folk meeting Appalachian storytelling. Think Isbell, Prine, and Petty.

With songs that can turn from funny to devastating in a line or two, Lansdale writes with an eye for the particular details that make a place, a person, or a past life feel real. His work has earned recognition at the Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk Contest, where he was named a finalist, as well as the Black Mountain Film Festival, where he won its songwriting competition. He was also a finalist in the Sleeping in the Woods Festival Songwriting Contest and a co-winner of the Hollar Holler Songwriting Contest.

Lansdale has appeared at venues including The Burl and The Monarch, earned a slot in the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame’s Songwriter Rounds, and is set to play the Flood with Love and River to Grow festivals. He has been featured on podcasts including Wick’s Picks, Roots Music Rambler, First Spin, and Hollar N’ Kentucky, along with regional radio programs across Kentucky.

His debut album, Headlong, introduced a songwriter grounded in place, plainspoken emotional weight, and a willingness to let the hard parts stay hard. His new EP, Wild Ride, was released May 7, 2026. This year, Lansdale is taking his songs to venues and festivals across Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, West Virginia, Texas, South Carolina, and Nebraska.

Brycw Ernest Taylor

Bryce Ernest Taylor delights audiences with his talent, energy, and insight.  This artist, musician, psychologist, lover of life, gives testament to the enduring excitement and mystery of living in this beautiful, yet sometimes troubled, world. This is certainly reflected in his debut national release, “Man with the Muse”. While he began singing, playing guitar, and writing songs at an early age, the seeds of his passion remained mostly below the surface for years.  Perhaps fed by the experiences of love, marriage, fatherhood, and helping others change, these seeds have grown as Bryce has discovered more fully his passion for songwriting and sharing his music with others.  While performing at festivals, coffee shops, and bars in Texas, South Carolina, and Indiana, he realized music needed to be closer to the center of his life.  Now, true to himself as an artist, living among the rolling hills and flowing streams of Kentucky, Bryce is intentional about communicating and connecting with others through music, and is truly cultivating this musical garden with audiences large and small, near and far away.

Bryce is currently booking for the 2023/2024 seasons.  His “Man with the Muse” CD was released nationally to folk radio in October 2022 and was listed in the top 20 albums in October on the FAI Folk Radio Charts.

Mo Bell

Born in the ‘70s and discovering a love of music in the ‘80s and ‘90s, the Mo Bell Experience pays tribute to the songs of his youthful days of listening to his parents’ records, radio, and collection of cassettes.  With a bit of Blues, R & B, and Rock and Roll, there’s hopefully something for everyone to enjoy (even those who grew up with digital downloads and streaming!).

“I had a great time playing the Heartstrings Songwriter's Circle. Trish creates a positive and inviting environment for artists and audience alike. I highly recommend that artists apply for this opportunity. I also highly recommend attending an event! It's a unique and interactive experience. Get to know the songwriters behind the songs a little better!”

— V. Davis
