RICK POTTER is a musician/singer/songwriter from Boyd County in Eastern Kentucky. Started writing songs in 2011 before retiring 2022 as Steelworker. Rick’s songs mainly stayed in his phone until late 2021 until he started recording with the help of Shelby Lore. His first single was released in January 2022 and first album titled These Days was released in April 2022. Rick was raised in a very musical family, developing a taste for bluegrass from his grandfather and classic country from his dad. Rick personifies a lot of old school country with a little bit of Appalachian bluegrass twang.

He sings a wide variety of original music and cover songs, covering classic and modern country, classic through alternative rock, and many styles in-between. His original songs tell stories of his diverse life experiences with raw honesty, sometimes with cheesy or ironic humor to laugh at tougher situations.

Listeners have compared Brian's classic sounding vocals to the likes of Johnny Cash, Eddie Vedder, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Aaron Lewis, among others. His writing, depending on the song, has been compared to the likes of John Prine, Keith Whitley, Weird Al for the Halloween parodies, and more.  

Bill Napier’s love for music and guitar began at an early age, when his mother showed him his first chords on the guitar. He continued with that passion by playing music at his small country church throughout his early years. Like most people, his passion was put on hold while he built a career and raised a family. But his love for music was always there in the background. After his retirement in 2020, he knew he wanted to get back to his musical roots. He began playing his guitar again and learning more and more. His desire to do more with his music and learn all that he could eventually lead him to Morehead State University’s Traditional Music Program. He studied song writing, recording, took mandolin and banjo lessons, and played in a bluegrass ensemble. He plays at several jams around the area and his music keeps evolving. And according to Bill, it's never too late to learn and grow, and keep following your passion.
